I'm trying to make my first official frankenmesh. I need to fix this hole in the bangs, I tried selecting three vertices and hitting F to fill, but the texture isn't right. What else do I need to do, or is there a better way to fix the gap?

I think I figured it out - Alt M to merge vertices seems like a better way to fill the gaps, unless I'm missing something.

If you want to fill the gaps by creating new faces, as you did in your first attempt, you will also need to map the new faces correctly on the uv.
