I've been trying to create a custom NPC/CAS name generator list but couldn't find a proper tutorial so I used this Rough guide then just imported my finished list and saved. This helped me to successfully get the names I want in game but the names I don't want still appear even though they're deleted on my version. I'm assuming this is because the game doesn't recognise my mod as a default replacement but I'm not sure how to do that. When initially creating my package I tried with and without the "Use EA naming" box ticked before hitting "add to current package" because I thought it might make a difference but it didn't seem to. I've only made a couple of poses before so mods are a bit out of my comfort zone but if anyone knows what steps I'm missing here I'd really appreciate the assist. I'm using the most up to date versions of sims4studio and notepad++

What Might Be The Problem: 1. The most basic (this probably isn't the case), you didn't add the mod to your mod folder. 2. The most likely, you also didn't replace the values in the sim data. 3. Luck, you may of not deleted the default values which means you will definitely not get lucky enough to see your custom names since there are thousands of names. Hopefully this helps!

2. The most likely, you also didn't replace the values in the sim data. Thanks for replying. I think you might be right. I had another look and I’d altered the data on one of the files and the names I’d added automatically transferred to the other (or at some point I did it, idk, I pressed a lot of buttons when I was in a tailspin trying to get it to work 😂) but the names I didn’t want were only deleted on one file and were all still there on the other. I haven’t finished fixing it so can’t say for sure it’s the solution but it feels promising, thanks for giving me hope when I’d almost given up on trying to use S4S for it.
