Thanks to you, mauvemorn , I have learned how to add a missing uv_1 map to a bracelet that doesn't have one like in my recent case. Now I had the idea to fix some of my other cc bracelets and even some watches that do not have uv_1 maps either and therefore won't work with the arm sliders. As I began using the same method as with my previous bracelet, I've noticed that adding uv_1 map to some other bracelets and a watch does not have any slider effect. So I was wondering why that wont work. I used "top" for reference and also used the same settings as tought in my previous case. Does the method I've learned do not apply to any other bracelets or does it have something to do with what bones they use and the size? Because I saw that not every wrist content, whether it is CC or EA's original, has the same vertex groups for whatever reason that is, and so I'm a bit confused now. You can clearly see in my edited blend that my uv_1 map was added correctly, but has no effect in CAS when using the arm slider. I do understand that maybe some very thin bracelets don't need a uv_1 map? but if they are of wider size like my previous one, they should have one to work with arm slider to not sink into the skin or look broken, right? Maybe you can shed some light into this? - Thanks

Hi. Everything that needs to morph needs a uv_1. The reason may be the wrong vertex color. It is possible that you did not enable UVs button or the reference was not selectable/visible. Share the blend file with whatever is not working please
as for the bones, they may differ depending on the position of the bracelet. There may also be some random bones in the list that do not even affect the mesh, you can delete them

Hi and thanks for your answer. I’m pretty sure that I did everything correct. I even repeated the steps a few times after I saw that it didn’t work in CAS just to make extra sure that I haven’t missed anything. The uv_1 is visible on the Sims arm when selecting uv_1 and on the left in the texture mask. I’m on mobile now and have no access to my computer, but I will share the blend with you tomorrow when I’m back on it.

The bracelet is vertex painted with black, so you need to paint it with 007f00. The watch is vertex painted with white, so you also need to change that.
Also, look at how the arm is rigged and how the watch is

I guess I picked a bad task to fix other creators CAS cc, lol, but thank you very much for all the info. At least I now know why they won’t morph and that it wasn’t a mistake on my end. Hopefully I can fix this part, too. Again, thank you very much for all the help

I sruggled finding the HEX button to add the color number because I didn't know I had to click inside the white box to make the little HEX box come up. I then searched again on how to get to that little color wheel window showing in your picture and found orangemittens tutorial step by step how vertex paint a Sims 4 mesh and was then able to add it I'm a newbie in fixing all this CAS cc missing out on uv_1 maps and correct vertex paint, but thankfully there are helpful people out there to count on. So again, THANKS for all the help! I can now go on checking my jewelry and fix it if needed
