Hi. Clone any maxis item for masculine frame, export the blend, there will be the head in the scene. Expand the rig, make the head selectable, and you can edit it  |

- open s4s, choose Create mesh, press CAS; - click on Part type, choose Head, choose the masculine frame, create a package, in Mesh tab click on Export, open the blend; (example of where those buttons are)
- expand the rig, make "head" selectable (cursor icon), select it; - i assume you want to get this head in photoshop or something like that, so File - Export - Wavefront (obj), enable Selection only If the tutorial you're watching does not cover this, it is best to not waste your time and find a beginner-oriented one |

This doesn't seem to work for me and have tried exactly as shown in screenshots. Not sure why there are male head meshes to just download? Any help would be great. It doesn't seem to want to open the .obj file in photoshop. Also when you say enable Selection only does everything else have to be unticked then? And do you select both head and head 2? Presuming the eye features need to also be on? Just need some elaboration

We have people constantly asking us where to get sim avatars for MD because the ones linked under the tutorial they watched are no longer available and the author did not bother to explain how to do this yourself.
You need to select all the body parts that you need. There will be "head" and "head_2". For some meshes the first one is the head and the second one is the mouth cavity, for others its the other way.
You can check which is which by toddling the eye icon that is next to the cursor icon. You do not need the mouth cavity which in masculine framed bodies is called "head_2", so select only "head". Then File - Export - Wavefront (obj) and enable "Selection only"
