Creating a new functional tea set - No option to pour

I have created new meshes and aligned them with the original wedding pack tea set. Everything works although when my sims pick the tea set up it reverts back to its original mesh. However, I don't mind that it does that my problem is it only gives me the option to steep and clean. There is no option to pour the tea or drink from the cups. I made sure I aligned everything to each geometry state however I still can not get the interaction for pouring the tea and drinking it. Does any one know how to solve this? Is this a simple tuning issue? I don't know how to tune much so any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
