So, i started making CCsyesterday, and i already got how most of it works and am able to do basically what i wanted. But there's a problem i faced while importing files for new swatches (PNG files get darker after exporting), and i know there's a solution for that but that got me thinking, does it work in the game or in the program if i import other files other than PNG for texturing? For example JPG, which, seems to be the one that works anytime i export a file out of TS4Studio.
Btw, i know JPG take soff the transparancy, but is there a problem to it?If other files don't work anyway, could anyone tell me a solution for the PNG fioles get darker problem? Thank you.

Hi. Could you please show a screenshot of what the original texture looks like in s4s as opposed to the "darkened" texture. Well, if the texture has transparency, then you cant use jpeg. If not, then you can, but it is best not to, because jpeg will undergo compression every time you save it and the image quality will worsen. You export it (it gets worse), you save it(it gets worse), you import it in s4s (it gets worse). png is uncompressed and will worsen only when you import it in s4s (s4s converts it).
