Hello,
I started to use Blender 3.3.1 for all my creations. But I am not sure if I am transferring uv data in the right way from the reference mesh. How we do data transfer in Blender 3.3.1? Any help will be appreciated.
Greetings
B.

Hi. The same way 1). Find a reference of the same overall shape as your item. If you are making a top that does not go below the navel or in the head area, you can use "top" under the rig as your reference. If you are making pants/shorts that do not go below the ankles or above the navel, use "bottom". For anything that does not fit these descriptions you'll need to find an appropriate maxis item. Make sure to join all parts of said item into one, optionally rename it to "reference"; 2). Make sure both the reference and your item are visible ( eye icon ) and selectable ( cursor icon, enable it in Filter); 3). Select your item. Add Data transfer modifier. Choose the reference as Source object; 4). Enable Face corner data, then UVs, then Nearest face interpolated; 5). Expands UVs, choose uv_1 in both drop-down menus; 6). Apply.

I am wondering when I am creating a bottom piece that goes above the navel when should I delete the top body?

No. You should not delete or modify anything under the rig. They are not imported but the game may not like if something is wrong with them(for some reason). You just make your pants as regular pants but transfer weights and uvs from the full body

This was so helpful SHEERLY for the fact that you showed how to find the "apply" cause it is so much less intuitive than in previous versions. Thank you!
