i'm picking back up an accessory conversion of a build mode object that i started on at least a year ago. that being said, i don't remember all too well anything i did with it back then lol. the conversion is a jack-o-lantern, and i converted it to a full face mask/hat that basically covers a sims head like a paper bag. my issue is that it continues to distort with the fat/muscle sliders in CAS even tho i don't need it to morph at all. i have tried appending and joining the mesh with the robot mask from base game and that didn't help. i do not know what mesh i cloned originally for the conversion unfortunately but i'm thinking the answer may lie there. i am wondering what i can do, if anything, to fix the issue now that i just have a blender file with a singular mesh part. in fact, all i had left of the original project was the unfinished package file.
ps if it isn't clear, i've basically taught myself by trial and error so sorry if i am phrasing things incorrectly! any help is appreciated xx

Hi. Joining one mesh with another does not transfer any data necessary for it to function. You need to vertex paint your mesh with black to prevent it from morphing and assign it to the head bone so that it moves correctly - delete all existing vertex groups if there are any; - create a new one, double-click, copy-paste b__Head__ - in Edit mode select the whole mesh with A, assign it to this bone - vertex paint it with black ( hex: 000000)
