I learned a powerful new lesson last night that I hadn't even realized yet. I was at the end of a larger project I was working on and getting tired. My tiredness hadn't let me save and manage my project very well and so then it happened, I was on my last object and accidentally hit the red X on S4S. All that work all those hours were gone :( This really got me thinking that I should request that if possible could S4S be made to where it asks you if you want to save before it exits? It would be really helpful to goofs like me Thanks for listening and I hope this helps.

I was wondering if it's possible to see the name of the file imported that the package is using. Sometime when I'm importing textures or trying out different blend files to see the results it gets difficult to remember what you used on that package if it happened few days before and you are a bit messy like me *w*

Thanks for bringing this to light untraditionalnerd.

I think seeing the name of the file would actually support in identifying S3 packs from S4 ones too. I kind of hate I removed s3pe. Figuring I would no longer have a need for it after removing TS3. I remember dropping a S3 pack in S4S trying to clone it, "on accident" caused me a bit of grief until brujah helped me identity it.

But only when hovering over something maybe, to keep the UI clean. But where to hover over, I don't know yet..

I am not sure if it has already been suggested or not cause I didn't read the whole post/thread but, it would be great if you guys could add an option to do stairs, foundations and railings. I thought the new beta version would include these features but it didn't. The new beta version is much better than previous versions though, and I have to say I really really like this tool. Thank you guys for all your hard work

The addition of stairs, foundations, and railings is on the list of things to do. Those items have their own groups and need to be added in separately from other build/buy items. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying Studio.

That is definitely on the list. In the meantime the search bar is helpful to at least narrow things down some.

Well, I came because I saw orangemittens' posts on MTS (some were deleted?) and was totally gonna ask about XML extraction, but there it is. Last few posts. Good stuff! Will the Studio be doing the AVI Import stuff we were talking about when I was new here? For easy access to adding custom videos to TV and PCs? I can still do it pretty easily (though a bit time-consuming), but if the Studio is pretty much "All-in-One", this would be a pretty nifty addition.

Just wondering, would it be possible to add a features which allows the creating of, and possibly replacement of, Styled Looks? It's an area of the game which seems to have been overlooked pretty early on due to its lack of customisation and I haven't seen anyone attempting to mod it yet. Personally I would currently want it so that I could remove the Star Wars outfits from CAS entirely.

menaceman44, Styled Looks will need some looking into to see how they're constructed but definitely they should be editable.

option to change the shaders on all lods at once instead of having to click each one manually in the MaterialSetEntry

Is there anyway we can group objects in studio by function? Maybe a tab to look at "beds" and "couches" or something like that? Maybe a separate cat for geostates?
