Hello! I've been trying to duplicate a left bracelet to make cuffs (under Wrist (Left)), but I'm running into a problem where the left cuff is floating off and the right cuff looks a bit deformed in CAS. I tried starting over and following this and this (renamed Vertex Groups, used Mirror X, used Flip Normals), but I keep getting the same results. It looks alright in S4S and Blender, so I'm at a loss right now. I know basic meshing and what UV maps and weights are for, but I still get a bit confused with the last two. Hey! If you mirror your mesh for second hand you need to redo uv_1 and weights so your bracelet is assigned to proper arm. For now it's floating cause it works with other arm than it's worn because of wrong uv_1 and weights

Ah, that makes sense. : 0
I'll update how it goes! The right one is supposedly the duplicate in this case, so I was stumped that the left one's having issues like that. Maybe it's because I renamed the vertex groups from L to R?

Probably yes, transfer uv and weight from top to both bracelets and it should be fine. If you want to change vertex groups names you need to separate duplicated bracelet so you do not mess weight on this good one

Okay... So far, I redid the uv_1 for the left cuff (unwrapped it again, then moved it around), separated the two cuffs, renamed the vertex groups for the left cuff, and transferred the weights R -> L in that order. I didn't join them for now since I'm afraid it could bring me back to square one, so I imported it to S4S to test and only the left cuff appears. Your advice has been helpful! Just that I haven't fiddled with weights too much apart from the basics, so I'm at a loss right now. ;w; UPDATE: I decided to join the separated cuffs after those steps, and it finally appeared correctly in the game! I'm not sure if those steps are exactly what it took to get there (or if there's a better way to go about this that I don't know about), since I kind of went back-and-forth with the weight transfers in particular. But thank you for the help!

I can't open your photos, it asks me to log in. You should watch some tutorials about creating cc, especially in this case transfering uv_1 and weights.
Weights should be transfered form reference to your bracelets (way you did them now works too but only for few weights that are divided into L and R. You can mess them this way easily too, as you saw earlier). Choose your reference mesh first and then with Shift select your bracelets. Go to Weights Paint, click Transfer Weights and set options as in picture below. Then click Clean option with All Groups selected and next Limit Total option.
For uv_1 you should transfer it from referece mesh (top in this case) to your bracelets using "data transfer" with options set like in picture below

Ah, whoops! Changed the permissions now. ^^; I'll try it this way and learn how this all works better.
Thank you again!
