hi, i'm making a pack of terrain paints. i've never done terrain paints before, so this is my first one. i'm using Substance Painter for the PBR base color map, then using Photoshop to offset and spot heal seams so that it becomes a seamless texture. it's (mostly) seamless when I scale it in photoshop, and up close it looks alright though i'll be making another pass to address the visible repeating spots. however, when i zoom out, i see my seams very clearly. i'm using 3.2.0.3 (star) base color map in S4S: Close-up view, where it looks okay for the most part (seams still need adjustment tbh, upon closer review i can see them): And this is what i get when i zoom out: bright seams that gradually increase in visibility the further I zoom out. i had this issue up close when i had forgotten to resize my 2K texture back to 512. currently i have it in S4S as a 512 texture which fixed the problem up close, but it's still visible from afar now. this may be silly, but any ideas of what i can do? TS4 uses 512 textures for their terrains so i'm not sure what i could potentially be missing. i'm hesitant to lower the resolution further.

sorry for double post. it occurs with textures that have not been resized as well. this texture and its normal map were exported as a 512 2D view texture from Substance.

problem solved: i needed to export in DDS format rather than using PNG out of habit.
