Hi everyone! I am new here and I need help. I hope this is the right place to post ;; About an hour ago I downloaded Sims 4 Studio and Blender 2.70, because I wish to create my original content. I watched patiently several tutorials on YouTube and I wanted to follow this one here. But when I try to open the exported file on Blender, I simply can't. It's like I exported the mesh in the wrong format but I don't know how to fix my mistake because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I think the little icon of the exported mesh should be the same as Blender's like it is in that tutorial, but for me it's a blank page that I can't open. (I'm sorry, Idk how to upload a screenshot here to show you) Does anyone know how to help me? If you need more info, I can try to explain better but remember I'm new so please use phrases I can easily comprehend. Thank you in advance! <3

Hi. If you can find videos on this subject for blender 3+, follow them instead If no, get blender 2.76b, change the path in s4s settings to blender.exe in the installation folder of blender 2.76b. Make sure your game path looks like this as well. Restart s4s, export the mesh again

I downloaded Blender 2.76b and changed the path like you suggested, but the same problem occurs again. Here is the photo of what the exported mesh files look like. Also, if I use Blender 2.76b, s4s tells me it doesn't see Blender installed on my computer; it's for this reason that early I downloaded 2.70, it seemed to recognize that version instead. Have you got any other advice for me? Thanks for the patience

Try this close blender and s4s, go to C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\addons\. If it does not look like in the pic, download this .zip, open "addons" folder inside of it, select 3 folders, and move them into C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\ addons\ so that it looks like in the pic - then open blender 2.76b again, check if it has s4studio cas tools It’s strange that the exported blend file has no logo. Can you RMB-click on it and choose « Open with », then choose blender
