I have been trying to make a few hats available for werewolves. I first created a copy of the werewolf earrings and then replaced the mesh and texture with the mesh and texture of the sante hat from the seasons pack. As far as the game is concerned this hat is an earring
In blender and sims 4 studio the hat looks fine but in game there is a weird distortion on the lowest part of the hat. I edited the mesh slightly by moving it into the right position for a werewolf but the distortion also happens in an unedited mesh which I only imported and exported through sims 4 studio. I also tried editing the mesh by lifting the lowest part to make it higher but the distortion remains no matter what position.
How can I fix this.

Hi. - select the hat, switch to edit mode (TAB), choose uv_1; - press B, click and drag to select the same area of the uvs as in the pic, press W, choose Weld; - move the uv where the rest of them are (like in the pic)
