There are bcg shorts that also have a feminine tag and appear in feminine catalog in the game itself, but they can only be found in male section in Studio and extracted to blender on male frame.
I LOVE how they sit on female frame, it's exactly what i need, i only want to raise their waist a little, and i don't want to rework them from masculine mesh completely because i worry that i won't be able to replicate it exactly the same. Is it possible to extract their female version somehow or open them on female mannequin?

Hi. The switch between frames is achieved through morphing, as in, there is no separate version for the feminine frame. Unfortunately, s4s cannot recreate how the game morphs items. The only way of doing this would be to rip it from the game with sim ripper or similar programs, but the mesh would not be adapted to function in the game again, so you’d have to do all of that yourself

So basically there is no easy way and i will need to edit mesh and try to recreate what i saw in the game, right? I'm very new to meshing clothes and only made a few hairstyles so far, can you please tell me if my idea will work? because i've tried to find a tutorial but haven't found what i need. i thought about opening any female skin tight mesh, then appending this male mesh with shorts, remove anything except for shorts, edit their shape to look feminine, replace part of female mesh with them, then merge them together (or not if it's not necessary). will that work? will the map that describes how shorts work with sliders stay?

Legs on the feminine frame are longer, so the groin is higher and you will need to move the shorts up. After that they may not end up in the same exact location as they were on the masculine frame. This will lead to some differences in how the morphs and bones affect the shorts and the legs underneath them. if this will align with what you have in mind, you can just work on the masculine frame (and if you want to restrict it to the feminine fashion only, remove the masc fashion tag). If not, do it as planned, and if the legs will clip into the shorts in-game, I’ll explain what you need to do

I'll try and see how it goes, and if when something goes wrong, i'll come back with questions 🤗
