Hi, I made a top mesh using MD and export it to Blender. My problem is the data transfer for uv_1. I followed tutorials on youtube, like this one link, but the UV 1 map of my mesh look really strange after i made a transfer as below: Here s my file: linkI have narrowed down all possibilities, and the only issue I can come up with is the mesh i made in Marvelous Designer, but Im not sure. I ll be grateful if you guy can help me take a look.

Hi. The reference and your garment must overlap, do not move the reference to the side Also: - export the mesh with these settings - in uv_0 the garment's uvs are in the space meant for the shoes. Arrange uvs in uv_0 after deleting the areas of the body covered with it; - for the future, share the version of the blend file in which you encounter the problem you're addressing. In this case the cause is obvious but in most cases we need to see the result to guess what was done wrong

Actually this is my file after transferring: linkMy MD project file: linkAnd this is my data transfer setting : I also notice that uv_1 of the mesh that combines the top with the nude mesh look like this before doing data transferring:

when adressing a new problem, please share the updated file, in most cases we would not be able to tell what was done wrong to lead to it from a screenshot. My guess is that you moved the reference in the Object mode, then placed in back in Edit mode Do it this way: - download the file you shared above, open it; - select re f top in Object mode, press N once, then N again, at the very top of this panel you will see Transform, next to X is 1.50601. Change 1.50601 to 0. The reference will go back into the right place; - select s4studio_mesh_1, press P - Selection to separate the top; - select s4studio_mesh_1.001, add Data transfer. Make sure the reference is visible and selectable. Set it just like you did before, apply; - delete the body, its data is already messed up. Never join the body with the garment until you transfer all data (weights, uv_1, vertex paint) to the garment and remove the parts of the body covered by it.

I solved it by keeping reference and the garment overlap each other.
