Hello everyone. First of all, hope you are all okay, no matter what you celebrate around this time of year. I'm posting because of the following issue: While working on a cc dress, i've noticed that when a sim is wearing it, their hands clip into the skirt whenever they're sitting down. See pic of issue here: click (sorry, i can't figure out how to embed the image in the post itself; image is hosted on imgbox). Here's a link for the package in case it's needed: simfileshare.net/download/3619511/A link for the blend file (lod 0 of project): simfileshare.net/download/3619512/ I tried the s4studio batch fix for cas items' rigs and nothing changed. I suspect it might have something to do with rigs but am not sure. I checked another dress (from wedding stories) and it didn't have this issue. More relevant information: The package I cloned to import is the bg sleeping chemise (yf_Body_Chemise). The dress includes the leg parts that usually are absent because I made the skirt transparent. The skirt of the dress is from a wedding stories dress, though I edited it slightly so it was wider in all directions (scaled to 1.1 in the X and Y axis and then further edited it in the back so that it was a bit further away from the legs). Thank you, Alex (bowl-of-plumbobs, on tumblr)

Hi. You need to always start the package from a maxis item that is the closest to yours in shape and functionality. Where the sims put their arms is dictated by slotrayintersactions and s4s does not offer a straightforward way to edit them, so you should clone something that already has the correct ones. Also, this is what your item will look like on the highest setting in the game of some other people Try cloning the original wedding stories dress that you used or something similar

Hey, thank you.
So I tried to clone the bg wedding dress since the width of the skirt was the most similar out of any bg dress and it didn't work. Same issue persisted.
Then I tried to clone one of the wedding dresses from Wedding Stories and it finally fixed it (I cloned the one which also has a transparent layer). Thank you so much.
The hands still clip a little bit, but I tested another similar (ea) dress and it has the same issue (slight clipping of the tips of the fingers) so I'm happy.
I'm sory. I have another question, though. Since I cloned a Wedding Stories Dress, now the piece won't be BGC. Is there any way I can make it bgc, or only cloning a BG item would achieve this?

Since you are going to replace all meshes and textures, it will not rely on anything from The wedding stories and thus be BGC
