How to add functional RGB Lighting on objects?

Hi,

I'm trying to make an "Alexa" custom object and I would like it to have functional RGB lights like the Groove Tube Wireless Speaker that came with the High School EP, I know I that I could clone this object, however I would like it to be base game compatible, so my question is, is it possible to clone a Base Game object and have these RGB Lights in it?
