I'm making sims 4 CC as a class project, and it requires me to use Houdini for the modelling part, I do know how to use blender, however I am not familiar with version 2.70, and can't for the life of me figure out how to nest an imported mesh into the s4studio_mesh_1 grouping. I tried to embed an image, but it didn't work, so here's the Imgur link to my outliner imgur.com/a/zyuUmbP The 'TestCube' is the mesh I am trying to move into the s4studio_mesh_1.

Hi. You can download the beta version of s4s that supports blender 3.3. You should probably watch a tutorial on adapting objects to ts4 for you do not need to do what you are trying to, s4s does not take in consideration the name of the meshgroup, only the cut you gave it. If you are trying to join your item with it for vertex groups, just copy paste their names

I watched a tutorial but it focused on making the mesh within blender, so I'll have to look into the cut. Thanks!

You can skip the modelling part completely, just pay attention to the rigging, the name of the uv map, and the cuts
