trying to get these plants/flowers to move with my sims' bodies when I change their weight (fitness/fatness sliders).  here's the mesh. thanks in advance for any help! |

The flowers were in the chest area adapted to move and morph with the chest. After you moved the mesh, the data responsible for moving and morphing stayed the same, so you need to edit it as well - enable sync, in uv_0 select the uvs in the top right corner, in 3d view press P-Selection; - shift-select the separated mesh, transfer weights;  - select the separated mesh, transfer uv_1 from the pants  - join the mesh back with the pants |

first thank you for responding! Which version of blender are you using, because for step one, there aren't nearly all those options. I'm using 2.7

2.7 does not have Data transfer, so you should get at least 2.76. But in this case, 2.7 will be enough. Just click on Transfer weights. Then, instead of transferring uv_1, move them in the pocket area

I tried transferring the weights before I came here and I guess I did something wrong, but that didn't work for me

What you’ve originally done did not work or re-doing everything as explained above? If the latter, share the updated blend

Redoing it in blender 2.76 following the instructions above and the original way I tried, neither work. I tried following the tutorial but there's extra things in your pictures that just don't exist in my file. there is no "reference".
It's not that big of a deal, but thanks anyways!

The « reference » is your pants. You need to choose them in the drop down menu, otherwise nothing will work
