Hi! I am doing a top that has transparency in it. I took the high school year's blouse as a reference. I created another mesh on top of the arm and put the uv map apart from the body uv in order to not clash when texturing. However, I came across an issue that the top is not transparent in the parts I wanted. I made an alpha channel and masked the areas in the texture and saved both as "DXT5 - alpha channel as transparency" and "DXT5 - alpha channel as Alpha 1" none seems to be working. I wonder if it is a problem with the mesh itself. Another important information is that the uv map of the mesh are stacked on top of each other in order to have a better quality for texture. Image 1 - My mesh. The white holes are supposed to be transparent. Image 2 - High school year reference.

The part you want to be transparent should be separated into a different meshgroup. Said meshgroup needs to have Simglass assigned to it.
Clone that high school top again, export it, study it. Yours should be structured the same, so separate the sleeves, assign them corresponding cuts and import back into this package, not the current one started from a nude top. If you will replace all resources, it will require no high school pack to function. Also, you should transfer uv_1 with nearest face interpolated, otherwise it will morph badly
