I saw the Infant updates for Studio Star and Mac. Will the wishes version get an update also or do we all have to use the Star version now?

Beta Branch is the only one that is updated currently and has been reported to have a few bugs, they won't release it to the "non-beta" regular post until the bug reports die down. So you'll have to install the beta if you want to update infants.
I've generally not had many issues with the beta branch versions, but I don't do anything all that funky, I do recolors and occasional deco sims.

Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering since there was no word about the S4S Wishes version for Windows whether it will still get updates or not. I personly like that version much better, tbh. And I'm not doing anything "funky" either  |

I wonder the same thing too. I hope that the Studio (Wishes for Windows) will get an update too for Infants, because I'm having real issues with the Star version on my PC. It's lagging and I just can't get used to the interface. Please, could someone responsible give an answer whether Studio whises will be updated for the infants too or not? Thank you very much!

I do hope so too because I'm also patiently waiting for some info by the developers. Tagging mauvemorn in hope to just get a simple yes or no, of if wishes is now obsolet. |

Im actually not a developer, don’t really know if the community tested version will be updated anytime soon. What I do know is that there are a number of unresolved issues related to infants in the beta version still, so they need to resolve them first and give the new version a test run |

Hi all, Studio Wishes & Apple Blossom are the community tested versions. This means that they have benefitted from several years of testing -> feedback -> improvement. The features these versions have should work on just about any computer. They will not undergo any further updates.
Studio Star and Aurora are the beta testing versions. They include features that the community wants, some of which required a change to their UIs. We did our absolute best to minimize UI changes as much as possible (I too hate UI changes in applications I use). These versions will also include all updates for patches and new EA downloadable material going forward.
If you want the new features the beta versions have but some issue is stopping you from updating to one of the new versions, it would be helpful to know what the roadblock is. Both beta versions are works in progress & still undergoing improvement.

I understand that the new version is still in development and has its glitches here and there, but the "UI animations" which looked more like glitches to me, are something I wish to completely turn off. - (just saw that the latest version already reduced them a bit, and a few more issues I had from the begining were fixed too. thank you!)
A few more bugs I found in the latest Star (Windows) version 1. Clicking the CAS category tab, the width of the window varies in size as you scroll through the list, but not always. 2. In warehouse there is an almost 5 seconds delay when clicking through "Object Catalog" and "CAS Part" swatches, and it then looks like 2 swatches were clicked at the same time. Clicking on CAS Part swatches will also produce a weird jumping up and down movement in the right hand window. 3. The settings tab does not show the full number of recent projects. If I set it to two numbers like 10, 11, 12, 20, the second number is half covered from the +tab.

im new here. its frustrating how all the tutorials uses old version with COMPLETELY different interface. all i wanted to do is recolor and object. but the interface is different than the tutorial shows. Did i miss some setting??
