Hi! this is my first time posting here. I'll be really grateful if someone could help me out please. The hairstyle freezes when it is selected in CC for seconds When a character is around with the selected hairstyle, the load take longer (game+all lots)

Hey! I am not hair creator, but this mesh is 75k polycount - it's crazy amount. This could be the reason why it's so laggy, I would definitely try lowering polycount. Random buns I checked have +/- 30-40k poly, this is almost two times more

Reduced mesh, cc still freezes for 10+ seconds...

Hi. Since TS4 is not demanding when it comes to computer performance, the most complex maxis meshes almost never go past 10k tris. 33k is 3 times higher than that, 75k is enough to crash the game for most people. I checked both files in-game and they load instantly because my laptop has a good processor, so that is most likely all there is to it. One thing i want to mention, though. The default dimensions for diffuse and shadow maps are 1024x2048, specular - 512x1024, normal (depends on the item, but in this case) - 1024x1024. To make content HQ-compatible, just double all numbers. Your normal map is 2048x2048, which will not cause any problems, but when you'll be replacing specular or shadow maps with "blank" ones, make sure to choose the right size or the item will not load in-game
