Hi! I was unsure where to post this. I have an older piece of CC shoes that don't seem to work well with the feet slider in game. It's hard to explain but it's like only part of the shoe is linked to the slider and the other part is static? My partner had a look in Maya and it looks like the different part of the shoes are stacked over each other and not connected which is why the shoe only partially moves and the rest of it distorts. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone. I'd like to try and fix this issue if it's possible. I can't find any replacements of this CC and the scaling is irritating as it impacts other outfits my sims where as I have to scale the feet smaller than I'd like for these shoes to look how they're supposed to in game. Another issue is that they have separate male & female meshes but there's no actual mesh in the male file? But the CC still shows up in game? The person who made this CC is no longer active. I'd appreciate any help or feedback on this and I'm happy to clarify things further if there are parts that aren't clear. Hi. Its hard to see from the pics what is wrong exactly, but if i understood correctly, the left foot in uv_1 is unwrapped over the right one? If yes, just do the steps in red - in UV editor enable sync;
- in 3d view disable Limit selection to visible, press B, click and drag to select the bad foot, and Delete - Faces; - with - button delete all vertex groups from the list that have L in the name: b__ L_Toe__, b__ L_Foot__, b__ L_Calf__; - in object mode press Shift D, then Esc to duplicate the mesh. Then Object - Mirror - X Global; - select the duplicated mesh, replace all R with L: b__ R_Toe__ ===> b__ L_Toe__, etc. Rigging is done; - select the uv_1 and change the pivot to 2d cursor. Select all uvs with A, UVs - Mirror - X axis. uv_1 is done; - expand rig, make bottom selectable. Select it, shift-select the left foot, select uv_0, select all uvs, remove the image in the background with x button. View - Draw other objects to see the uvs of the bottom; - change the pivot to Median point, select the front uv island, mirror it, align it with the uvs of the front of the left leg. Do the same with the back. uv_0 done. - in this order: select the (mirrored) left foot, shift-select the (original) right foot, in 3d view press Ctrl J to join; - switch to edit mode again, select the left foot again, Mesh - Normals - Flip normals. Done.

Hi, thanks for the response. I tried what you suggested and the mesh still behaves similarly. I've attached a link to a screen recording that shows precisely how the mesh acts in CAS. Oh yeah, not what i thought. Would need to see the blend to know for sure, but both of these should fix it: - vertex paint the mesh with 00FF00; - then transfer uv_1 from nude feet. Expand the rig, make feet visible and selectable. Select the shoes, add Data transfer; choose feet as Source object, set the rest like in the pic, apply

To address the issue with your CC shoes not working properly with the foot slider, You can try two approaches-
Vertex Paint: Paint the mesh with the color code 00FF00. UV Transfer: Transfer UV_1 from the nude feet. To do this, expand the rig, make the feet visible and selectable, select the shoes, add Data Transfer, choose feet as the source object, and set the rest according to the instructions provided in the forum.
