i'm creating a custom hair and i added a hair strand that in blender and s4s it appears fine, but when i load the hair in game it distorts the geometry and i have no idea of what it could be :/ i have checked all weights to make sure they were fine and i even re-made all the weights and it still acts weird in game here's the s4s screenshot: but when loaded in game the strand appears like this: any help will be appreciated, thank you in advance!! <3

Hi. We would need to see the blend file to know for sure. It can be uv_1 as well

yeah, as you see its uvs are smacked at the bottom, so it does not morph. - enable sync, press B, select those uvs at the bottom, in 3d view P - Selection to separate; - select the separated mesh, add Data transfer, choose s4studio_mesh_1 as Source object, set the rest like in the pic, apply ( second panel only)

oh my god thank you!! it hasn't completely fixed the issue but it made it better so i'll keep trying until it looks alright <3 thank you again!!

okay i've been tweaking the uv1 and i still can't fix it.. i discovered the geometry changes with the ear slider, so i went back to checking the weights but it still appears distorted in game even though the weights in blender seem fine?? if someone could check it i'd be so happy, here are the package files and the updated blend file: blend filepackage

The uvs of that strand are in a completely different place. Re-do the steps, making sure to select the correct reference and uv_1
