Hi. - switch to Edit mode. In uv editor enable sync( highlighted blue button in the first image), hold Ctrl to select those specific uv islands; - in 3D view press Delete, choose Faces; - switch to Edge select, holding Alt, select the borders like in the second pic. It will select more edges than you need, so hold Shift to deselect unwanted ones; - deselect those two edges at the beginning and at the end of 5; - Edges - Bridge edge loops; - now you just need to edit the textures

Try selecting them from on side to another instead of randomly

When I use Alt to select, it only selects a few edges at a time, I have to use Shift to add to the selection and to unselect. I'm trying to go side to side selecting but I still end up pretty much the same. I even tried using Alt + Shift to select but then I end up with pieces outside of the 5 selected that I can't unselect.

Yes, you’re meant to use alt shift to select more than once. And you’re meant to unselect unwanted ones by holding Shift (no alt)

I am ending up with edges selected outside of the area that I want that I can't unselect. I'm holding Shift and right clicking on then but they won't unselect.

Sorry for the wait, lost the thread. Theres another way - delete 5 as explained before; - enable sync, press B, select the whole front of the shirt; - remove doubles ( in 2.7x: Tools - Remove doubles, in 3.3 Mesh - Merge - By distance ) with Merge distance set to 0.0001; - in 2.7x Select - Select boundary loops, ion 3.3 Select - Select loops - Select boundary loop; - now in uv editor press B, holding Shift deselect all of them beside 5; - then dont forget to deselect one at the beginning of 5 and another at the end, then bridge
If it wont work again, heres a blend

The link does not work. You need to edit all textures that have 5 on them. If you did and it’s still there, it’s possible the the blend file did not import. Do you have S4Studio cas/mesh tools in blender?

I had downloaded Blender 3.5 not realizing it wasn't supported yet. I went and got 3.3 and now the 5 is gone. Thank you so much for your help.
