I've never used blender before until 2 days ago so I've had a fair few problems with it. I swear I'm following the tutorials right but it just isn't working. After much trial and error I managed to make this (it's a statue in my city that everyone loves and makes fun of for obvious reasons).
I saved the texture and it looks like this
and when i baked it it looked like this
When I import the mesh onto S4S it just doesn't import. the flag pole I used just stays the same. the terrible meshes work but the owl won't load. i don't even get an error message or anything. What have I done wrong?

Hi. We would need to see the file to have an easier time understanding what the texture should be like but what i can tell from the result is that the uvs of the black object overlap with those of the ghost-looking thing In uv editor UVs - Pack islands so that the uvs of both objects are evenly redistributed and do not overlap

All basics you must know should be covered in any beginner-oriented start-to-finish tutorial on object making
