Hi, Hope somebody on here might be able to help me . I have some pieces of CC facial hair and they work fine. However, once I try to click on a mirror in game the shave option does not appear (and hair growth is enabled in CAS). It only works with none-CC facial hair. I've already used Sims 4 Studio's batch fix (add hair growth tags to CC Facial Hair). I also changed the growth levels manually to be more in line with beards from the game (as it seems to me that Sims 4 Studio generally assigns lower growth levels than the ones in game - and I set them all to be >0). Now, the option to shave still does not appear on any mirror (even with beards set to growth level 3, with hair growth enabled in CAS). I now was wondering if there is something that needs to be done to enable the feature ( besides adding a hair growth level- and a hair growth type tag)? Maybe there is also something very obvious I'm missing, as I tried to find if someone else has the same problem and I couldn't find a solution. Thanks in advance! Edit: Solution seems to be to go into the warehouse under "Editing Tags" and change category of growth level tag to "GrowthLevel" as the batch fix wrongly assigned this the "GrowthType" category - for more details, check post below. (Also wanted to add for this Sims 4 Studio Version 3.2.0.6 (Star) was used)

Hi. I haven’t looked into this myself and can’t at the moment, but I assume that this would be handled through a buff, not just a tag. can you clone a maxis mesh that works as intended, then switch to the Tuning tab, and check if there’s anything in there?

Hi. I haven’t looked into this myself and can’t at the moment, but I assume that this would be handled through a buff, not just a tag. can you clone a maxis mesh that works as intended, then switch to the Tuning tab, and check if there’s anything in there? Hi mauvemorn, Thank you so much for your suggestion. I checked the tuning tab of a new maxis mesh clone and it is empty/no buffs are assigned. Anyway, you inspired me to look more closely and there might be a solution . Now I've re-checked the growth type- and grow level tags in "Editing Tags" in the warehouse menu and I found out that that the Sims 4 Studio Batch Fix (Add Hair Growth Tags to CC Facial Hair) did add those tags, but it assigned them both the "growth type" category. Then I changed them to this: Category": " GrowthLevel", ( before this was also set to "GrowthType") "TagValue": "GrowthLevel_Hair_3", "TagValueNumber": 2813, "CategoryNumber": 129 }, { "Category": " GrowthType", "TagValue": "GrowthType_FacialHair_Beard", "TagValueNumber": 2817, "CategoryNumber": 130 Now the option appears on the mirror for all beards and swatches were these categories are correctly assigned. For me the feature works as intended for non-Maxis meshes now. However on old re-colours of Maxis meshes, the beard does not disappear after shaving (but the game treats it as if it was gone/needs to regrow). This seems to be the solution for my non-Maxis meshes. For the re-colours I would've probably to clone them again and re-add all swatches. For now, I'm more than happy with this solution. The only disadvantage seems that this has to be done for each mesh and swatch separately again. If it is not too much of a hassle, maybe this batch fix could be updated to not only assign growth type tags correctly but also growth level tags? In any case, thank you for your input.
