Hi, so I tried meshing Maxis match hair from scratch for the first time using curves. I'm at the part where I have to UV map it but the tips of some of the strands aren't connected to the rest and it's a bit frustrating. I can't get it to look seamless no matter where I place them. I believe it's because I merged the vertices at the center to close the hole? How do I connect those triangles to the squares? Or is there another way to fix this? Here is the .blend file.

Hi. If you have a version of the blend before you converted curves to mesh or re-arranged the uvs, go back to it, select all uvs on one side and W - Align Y. By the way, it is best to pick a different texture ( the one that has big textures of hair like yfHair_LongStraight instead of small ones), select and rotate all uvs at once before re-arranging Also, some strands have inverted normals
