Hellooo! soo I'm trying to do a beanie with a mesh that I did in MD but i can't seem to get it right, it clips with the hair, the sort layer is set at 11000
I try to take as reference "EP11Beanie" from cottage living and another try with "KnittedKufi" and both clip, one on the back and one on the front, I can't make it work; I guess is because that is the reference mesh but I wonder if there is any way to fix this? thank youu!

Hi. The hair is made of 3 meshgroups: the base shape (no hat) and two hat chops for two types of hats. When you use one type of hat on a sim, the game switches the hair from the base shape to an appropriate hat chop.
in your case it seems like you started the package from the wrong type of hat (the one that sits too high on the hat).
You need to start a package from a hat that sits low on the head like yours, export the blend, append your hat there, and in edit mode(!) rotate the whole hat to match the placement of the maxis one if it doesn’t. It should sit on the head just like the maxis one. Then you should replace the same maxis hat in the package with yours.

by comparison, I guess. Just look through a few in cas to find the one that looks lower where you need yours to be
