I started creating CC last week but I already have previous knowledge about 3D modelling, textures, normal maps and etc. I am trying to recolor and redo the textures of one object. I notice the game change the number of polygons of the object to render when its close and when its far away. My weird problem is that the reflections look good from far away but look wonky when its close. link of image : imgur.com/a/i0Lr8q3I already tried to create a normal map, I already tried to use just plain gray as normal map. I already tried to conect all vertices in the model but the reflections is always wonky in a point or another. I dont know what to fix to create a perfectly smooth reflection. I already tried to use the low poly version of the model as the high poly one but the game just shade them differently. Before someone ask this is a conversion object from sims 3 to sims 4. I didnt created or modelled anything I am just trying to improve the textures.
