So, I've been inspired by some modding I saw, clickable worlds, world object overrides, and CAW. That being said I think the pool of people who have actually ventured into the files and tampered with world stuff is a new frontier to say the least. I decided to take what little knowledge I have and do the scientific thing and start poking things with a stick. I've been particularly interested in the aspect of editing world meshes, as I think it could really bring something new to the modding community if we were able to figure out how to properly use it to our advantage. I'm sure a mod like TMex's CAW will offer abilities such as this, but as I imagine that mod is a ways off from being completed I decided to explore my own findings.
One of my particular interests has been seeing if I could flatten a terrain, I haven't entirely figured out how world meshes work but it seems like each vertex is editable in S4S, there's a lot to work with that it's very overwhelming but I've at least been able to import other world meshes into another. As an example here's the Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs with Strangerville's files imported into it.

And here's the entirety of the world imported, again these are both just experiments but I think it's interesting to note that it means it's entirely possible at the very least to edit world meshes and there is a ton of potential there for further editing and modding.

While these finds are pretty bare minimum and very much just me seeing what does and doesn't work I'm interested to know what other people think, recommendations, and feedback into unlocking the secrets of this seems like a pretty fun and exciting adventure personally.
