I have a new question, if you can help - I’ve made some cc/mods for a specific age available to other ages but they’re all messed up and the body parts are missing and the cc/mods don’t show up properly. For example, if i have a shirt or shorts originally made for a teen/adult and i change the age flags to allow child and toddler to wear the clothing, the bodies get all messed up and the clothing looks all messed up. What am I doing wrong?? I cant figure out how to attach a picture. I'm inserting the link to a picture I took but it wont show up in the post. sorry guys... if you know what im talking about please help!

Hi. This can be done only to texture based content or only for specific frames.
for example, you can make makeup, skin overlays, tights, beauty marks, eye color, etc, available for all age groups because those are just textures. you can make glasses for the feminine frame available for the masculine because head meshes are almost identical. you can make content for the adult available for teens or elder because the shape of the body is the same (within one frame). But when you make for adult clothing available for children, that doesn’t work because the bodies differ in shape.

Oh okay, so there is no way to make clothing accesible to children/toddlers when it was made for elder/adult/teen?
Can i make clothing available for female if they were made for male and vice versa?
What about hair?

Also, do you know why my changes are not showing up in my game? When I remove swatches and delete CAS items, those changes do not show up in my game. I’m saving the packages each time.

To make adult/elder/teen clothing accessible for children, you have to recreate it for them. Sometimes a creator has made the same object for multiple ages, but not always.
To make items accessible for males as for females or vise versa, you can look in CAS. Toward the top where you switch between everyday/formal/party etc., there's a box where it says "masculine" or "feminine." If you click the x beside them, you should get access to items for the other gender. I believe it's the same for hair.
Try deleting your localthumbnailcache from the Sims 4 folder in Documents. Also make sure you don't have duplicate items and that they haven't been restored by any relevant backup such as OneDrive.

You need to reshape the garment in blender. You can find tutorials on YouTube that show how to do that
You need to disable sync between Documents and Onecloud or change Ts4 documents path in s4s settings to the right Documents folder (without Onecloud in the path). We answered that in your previous thread

I will look into blender. I already deleted the localthumbcache folder and it didn’t do anything. What path am I supposed to have? You didn’t answer that so I’m not sure why you’re saying that.
Please, could you write out what path for my electronic arts folder, and then what path inside s4s I should have.
There is no syncing going on because I deleted one drive from my computer.

C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 instead of C:\Users\(username)\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 If you edited the content of Mods folder found through the second path, you need to move it to the first location ( but, as i understand, you've already done that)

Also it won’t let me change the paths in s4s. It says “an error has occurred. Please report this. Thanks”

Which path am I supposed to change? The “Sims 4 path” or “Sims 4 documents”? The Sims 4 path won’t allow me to change it. The sims 4 documents is set to mods

Sims 4 documents is the one that has mods and the one My cc is using. It should look like this C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 , without onedrive or \Mods

I finally did it, and whatever I did seems to have worked. I changed the documents folder to what you said. I edited a piece of clothing to test it out and then went into the game and it’s changed are showing up. Wonderful! Thank you very much!!!
