Hi! I have a problem with uv_1. When I make my sim thinner or fatter, the collar of the top looks crooked. I understand that I need to move the vertices in uv_1 somehow? I tried to do so but it only made it worse. Thank you in advance for any help Blend file

Hi. Your uv_1 is fine ( a bit ripped at the bottom, but it is not a big deal in this case). The problem is caused mainly by weights. 1). each vertex is affected by more than 4 bones, which exceeds ts4 limit, so the extra ones get removed upon import and the mesh behaves weirdly; 2). the breast size is controlled by breast bones. When the breasts shrink or expand, the middle of the collar does as well while the rest stays still, so in this sense its placement is unfortunate; 3). your top is a lot more high poly than maxis items are, so it moves and morphs in a jagged way; 4). sweaters are generally vertex painted with a different color in the breast area. Try this: - separate the body from the top, rename them for convenience; - clone a sweater, the less sculpted details ( collars, layers of clothing, belts, etc), the better. Go with yfTop_TShirtLong. Export the blend, append in the scene, rename to Reference; - transfer weights, uv_1 and vertex paint from the reference with these exact settings. Do not do anything beyond what's shown in the pics ( no manual weight painting, uv_1 adjustment, etc) - join back with the body, test in-game; - if the problem in the breast area still occurs, manually fix it like this - unfold rig and find them in the list, make them visible and selectable(eye and cursor icons); - in 3d view select one, press S and type 1.5. Do the same for the other. - in weight paint mode, select the first breast vertex group. using Subtract or Blur brushes, remove any distortions. Then you can lock it. Do the same for the other one; - once done, select the rig, in pose mode select everything with A, Pose - Clear transform - All;

Thank you for your answer! I did what you said but the distortion still appears. The breast area looks better thought, but not the back collar Blend file

are you sure the blend was imported or that youre seeing the updated package? i cant recreate the problem in the back with the latest blend you shared. Try deleting all existing packages of the vest from Mods and restarting a package

I'm sure the package is right, but I started a new one just in case, the result stays the same. I assume this distortion only appears when I check both fat sliders to the minimum. Am I understand right that there's nothing I can do to make it look a little bit better on thin sims?

Well, you could try moving the uvs in uv_1, but it will be a tedious and time-consuming process that might cause more problems than solve ( the back might clip into the top). Right now it is as it should be in terms of weights, vertex paint and uvs, so just an unfortunate placement, i guess
