Adding function to shell building.

I am trying to add function to a shell building. I created a new file using the replacement option. I succeed in add a simple function in the object. I can buy the shell from the catalog but the original object from the world dont have the function option. It replace the color but didnt added the function. 

Here its my buildind side by side. imgur.com/a/dCAerw3 (i used tool mod to move it outside of lot) As I said the one from right have a function menu while the other have that symbol that I cant click on it. 

I know its possible to create this kind of replacement because Cepzid did. Cepzid patreon
