Hello, the problem I have is that I am converting a hair from second life to the sims4 and everything is perfect. The hair is imported into the sims4 studio and the texture is imported but when I open the game with the pack and select the swatch with the texture I have imported the hair disappears and the sim gets a strange color however the textures ea recognizes them and nothing happens. Hey! Not sure how to help you, but for me your png file works fine and dds one does not, but after I opened it and resaved it works again. DDS one cause lack of texture on everything like cc that is not adapted for hq mod (I do not use hq mod). Also I saw that file size is higher after I resaved. Do you save your dds textures as DXT5 (or BC3 in newer versions)?

Hi. You seem to be saving textures with wrong settings and in the wrong size. The default texture sizes are: diffuse and shadow: 1024x2048; specular: 512x1024 normal: ( depends on the item) To make the item hq mod compatible, you need to double the size of diffuse, shadow and specular maps. If its not like that, an item will not work with the hq mod Judging by the fact that transparency differs between the swatches, you may be saving files with different settings It should be BC3 and generated mipmaps
