So I'm trying to make a pin/brooch like accessory that would sit on top of the clothing. It's something that's been done before by other people ( EX), so I know it's possible. But it's not a very common type of accessory so I can't find any tutorials that show how to do it. Here's the blend file and package if anyone wants to take a look at that. I'm using this CC as just a reference for how I want mine to move with the Sim, and I've looked at how it's weighted and what joints it's assigned to and mine still moves really oddly. It's hard to show in photos, but I'll try: My accessory gets a little warped and moves way too much when the Sim moves around, but the other similar pieces of CC I've seen seem to stay in place and only stretch a little bit with the Sim. Any advice?

Hi. You transferred the weights in a very strange way. Each vertex group in the list affects it by 0.02. - expand the rig, make top selectable; - select the brooch, delete all vertex groups; - select the top, shift-select the brooch, transfer weights exactly as shown below

Tysm! That worked. I'm having a separate issue where the game crashes whenever I try to select the CC in CAS though, which was an issue before and after I fixed the weights. Any idea what would cause that?

Okay turns out that the package file got corrupted so I just had to start over and put the new mesh in that instead of the original one! Problem solved!

But make sure you are using the latest version of beta, the previous two had the shadow map related problem where every package would get corrupted
