Hi! I changed bangs/fringe on a hairstyle and it came out fine in blender, but in-game it has some weird lighting and shadows on it. It also looks discolored. The hair itself is fine, but look at the bangs. It looks like it has a green outline. Any advice on this?   (also these two pictures are showing the hair in two different colors, just so you don't think there's something wrong with the colors)  |

Hi. The bangs are not unwrapped in uv_1. When you join two meshes, you need to make sure their uv maps are named the same for them to join as well. It’s either that or the bangs had no uv_1 map to begin with. Anyway, what you need to do is retransfer uv_1 - clone a similarly shaped hair (the placement and the length of bangs and the rest of the hair, can be longer but not much shorter) - append it into the scene, rename to Reference; - select your hair, add Data transfer modifier, choose Reference as Source object, set the rest like in the pic, apply  |

No, you don’t need to do anything beside what’s listed. Just open the blend and do this.
Also, make sure the hair has only two maps named uv_0 and uv_1

- select the right meshgroup, choose uv_1, in uv editor enable sync; - press B and select those vertices at the very bottom; - in 3D view press P- Selection to separate the bangs; - expand the rig, make head_2 selectable; - select the separated meshgroup, add Data transfer, choose head_2 as Source object, enable Face corner data, then UVs, then Nearest face interpolated. Choose uv_1 in both drop down menus and click Apply; - join the bangs back with the rest of the hair  |

It loads for a few seconds and then stops. Nothing happens. I've tried importing it on a new mesh as well, but nothing. Any idea what I did wrong this time? Silly hair, I really wanted to use it |

You did not need to use the newest version, everything is in the same place in the old one as in the picture
I dont know if s4s still supports blender 3.2.
Try changing the blender path in s4s to blender.exe in the installation folder of s4s, clone any hair, export the blend, check if s4studio mesh tools is there;
- If yes, delete the original meshes and append yours into this scene, save, import into the package;
- If the s4studio mesh tools is not there, either install 3.3 and repeat the aforementioned instructions or just do everything in the old version of blender

I'm not sure what you mean with changing the blender path in s4s installation. There is no blender exe there, my path is "Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe" EDIT: Also, normally changing bangs or such works fine, why is this one messed up? |

This version is not suitable to use for making cas items There is no blender exe there, my path is "Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\ blender.exe" If you have the beta version of s4s, this path must lead to blender.exe in the installation folder of blender 3.2, not blender 2.7 If you have a community tested version of s4s, it does not support blender 2.8 - the latest versions at all, and you need to use blender 2.76.
