I followed this lovely tutorial which taught me how to use custom tuning to change the in-game text on an object. I took a statue and replaced the "view" text with the text "worship the goddess". So far, so good. To complete the item, I tried to replace the generic "view" animation with the bowing animation from Snowy Escape's "Respectful Introduction", so that the sim will bow to the statue. I followed this short youtube tutorial on simple animation swapping, but I'm clearly doing something wrong because it isn't working. Here is the .package file. Any help would be appreciated!

To anyone who might find this thread someday: after much trial and error, I realized that I simply cannot figure out how to replace the generic view-loop animation. As a work-around, I added a confident ambience and edited the animation for the "view confident work" instead. On the plus side, the "Honor the Goddess" bow now grants a confident moodlet, so all's well that ends well.

Thanks for posting your solution. Animation questions sometimes go unanswered here because most here are only interested in making meshes and thus only know how to make meshes.
