Is there a way to do that? I've made a lot of accessory tops by cloning the base game long gloves but I noticed that when wearing them the sims' nails disappear; which is expected since I cloned a pair of gloves. So is there a way to have both at the same time? Or should I clone something else for an accesory top?

The easiest thing, in my opinion, is to clone something else like maybe a ring. There's a way to edit the region map but Mauvemorn knows more about that than I do. You can put the textures in a different section of the CAS map. If I remember correctly, the only thing you'd need to worry about is if, for instance, you put your UV islands in the section for hats. If you tried to equip a hat then it would pick up the texture of your item. So, you couldn't equip both at the same time.

Thanks a lot for replying So I clone a ring for the nails, right? And then I can retag them as nails so they show under the nails menu or not?

You only need to change ExcludePartFlags2 from 0000000000000200 to 0000000000000000 for every swatch, cause this 2 between zeros hide nails
