I'm trying to import a mesh that has a different rig (more bones) than the original mesh I got from the package when I made a new package in S4S. But when I try to import the new mesh nothing happens, nothing changes. I figured it was because the rigs are different (?), so how do I import this mesh to my new package?

Ok, here is the blend and package. I couldn't find a way to attach the files so I found a free file host, if it doesn't work tell me where I should upload it to instead. ufile.io/6c3ykgnrBTW, now I get an error instead of no message when I try to import the mesh. I'm using newest Beta version of S4S and Blender 3.3.

The item you cloned to start a package is a deco object. It is made of two meshgroup, the bottle and the shadow under it. The bottle is assigned to one meshgroup, the shadow is not assigned to any. The stethoscope does not cast any shadows, it has only one meshgroup. It was a functional object that animated when a sim used it, so it is assigned to many bones.
The content of your blend does not match the content of the package, so it is not being imported. You need to re-do your blend. Export the bottle blend, append the stethoscope in it, delete all vertex group from it, create transformbone, assign the item to it. Give it the same cut number as the bottle. Select the shadow plane, adjust its shape to match the stethoscope
