How to place an image on clothingEver wondered how to place an image you like on your Sims clothing? Search no more! Just watch my video and hopefully you can do it yourself. If this isn't the case, then just ask where you get stuck. • As saving as PNG is much easier and faster then saving as DDS, here is what you have to do following my tutorial: In Studio export the T-Shirt texture as PNG file instead of DDS. At 3.10 minutes instead of choosing DDS for format, choose PNG, then click save and continu the tutorial. After this tutorial you can watch my other tutorial about "How to add Dynamic Light to clothing" In which I will use the files made in this tutorial. Video Link: How to add Dynamic Light to ClothingIf you got any questions about it, please ask them here in this topic or in the comment section on Youtube. I got a lot more tutorials on my youtube channel and there're going to be many more. So if you don't want to miss them, please subscribe! If you want to have an overview of all The Sims 4 Tutorials I made on my Youtube Channel, please take a look at my BakieGaming Video Index here on the Forum. You will find links to all tutorials here on the forum and links to all tutorials that aren't on this forum in there.

Queen-AlpacalypseNo, I'm sorry I haven't got GIMP and I don't know how that works either, but it should be quite the same. Could you tell me where you got stuck? Maybe I, or someone else can still help you.

can you make a tutorial for GIMP users? I'm too poor for photoshop :P I have a suggestion, give Paint.Net a try. I'm new to S4S but not the 'net, tried Gimp (I had before...), it's *hard* to work with at a beginner level. I switched from that to Paint.Net and I *love* it. I doubt I'll ever use Gimp again.

Hi,
Does this apply to patterns as well? For example, if I have a pattern do I drag it across the entire shirt/mesh in order for the pattern to appear on both sides? I'm just starting to make CC, so I'm trying to understand/everything the best way I can. Thanks!

Hello jabrieya, First of all, welcome to Studio forums. As for applying patterns to clothing, I think that will work, although there will be some seams visible on the sides and at the beginning of the sleeves, I suppose. If you're working with photoshop, you can also hold Ctrl+left clicking the shirt layer. If you're working with PNG files, this should make a selection around your T-shirt. When double clicking your layer then, you can choose pattern overlay and this will fill the whole selection. But it's a long time I did clothing recolors, so I don't know if this would work well...

Hi cohen32137Text is only available for items, but also there you should have a Texture tab to be able to change them.
