hey everyone, lurked a lot here as a guest before but this is my first time posting im pretty much a beginner, i've made recolors and played around in blender but this is my first serious (or most successful) mesh edit. i (foolishly) made 32 swatches before even checking it in CAS and ran into some problems :( imgur.com/kEnhT6Y ^ in s4s imgur.com/eHq5KD9^ blender imgur.com/96fzdEH^ in game (first test) after that i did some research and played around with the spec maps and ended up with this which does look a little better i guess? imgur.com/iv8v8bHalso as you can see it kinda blends in with whatever other clothes the sim is wearing? i looked into it some more after that but im super confused still :( does it have something to do with the weights? or is it some error with the Uv maps? im using version 1.4.0.5 of Sims 4 studio and blender 3.3.7, hope i put this in the right section

The default texture dimension are: diffuse and shadow: 1024x2048 specular: 512x1024 To make them hq compatible, all of these numbers should be doubled
Right now the shadow map is of the wrong size
