[SOLVED] Hair messed up/distorted when importing/exporting

Hi I'm posting here because I've exhausted everything I could think of. A free content creator made my dream hair, almost - I just want to modify/chop the bangs a little for my personal use...but am having issues before even touching the mesh in Blender.

Issue: Hair looks fine in Sims 4 Studio, but messed up in game. Screenshot here: drive.google.com/file/d/13gfx8CqhW89R5hc5Uzuyc5dzkQiPacBI/view?usp=drive_link

Steps to reproduce:

1. Moved the original author's hair package to the Sims4Studio Mods folder (author's original hair package here: drive.google.com/file/d/1B49Lqq1A6R9laQYJRFS-onRmuGriSITf/view?usp=drive_link)
2. Create 3D mesh in Sims4Studio and Export the Mesh from the original author's package (blender file here: drive.google.com/file/d/1R34X4nCSIAw1JSoC0s6zMGJKAV9plp8_/view?usp=sharing)
3. Import that same mesh that I just exported (again, I didn't even have to touch or open in Blender and it already is broken...)
4. Save the .package file and run in game and see the same thing as my screenshot (the final .package file here drive.google.com/file/d/1TitMOhboijEsOi9UaFnZaQsr5itOaWq9/view?usp=drive_link)

I have tried un-installing, re-installing, all different versions of Blender from here sims4studio.com/thread/29850/which-versions-blender-sims-studio , and even tried Sims 4 Studio beta with Blender 3.3+. The same issue occurs :( Anyone have ideas on what the issue could be?

Again looks completely fine in Sims 4 Studio, only looks messed up in game.
