This is about as good as i can make it. The lowest disks are in the unfortunate place and will warp no matter what. If you will remove the feet bones from them, they will clip into pants. For the future, never make things that do not already exist among maxis items. There is always a reason for this.

Hi, thank you both mauvemorn and Fwecka (Lolabellesims) for the suggestions and help. I was trying fwecka's instructions for a few hours and they unfortunately didn't work, although that might be my fault as this mesh may be a bit too complicated in general. I'll mark this thread as solved and keep in mind what you said, Mauvemorn. Again, thanks for the help I appreciate it as always

Again, thanks for the help I appreciate it as always It just takes practice. You have train yourself to see sharp edges (which are because vertices are not merged where they should be), dark shading (which is because vertices are merged where they should not be), and the like. You'll get better at it if you keep making things. Start with simple projects and go from there. Fixing other people's custom content is good practice, too. The upside of this is that you get custom content you want that is fixed, lol. Don't feel bad if you have to start over multiple times. I recently made gloves with Marvelous designer and I must have started over fourteen times. I'm still not happy with my work but at least I know what I'm doing now. You have to actually like making custom content because, man, it can drive you batty sometimes.

I think my problem is that I hate simplicity and love challenging myself haha. I have a lot of fun making cc despite the stress it can bring sometimes as I like creating things I'd like to see in game which are usually complicated I learnt a lot from this mesh in general. Thank you for the advice!!

I think my problem is that I hate simplicity and love challenging myself haha. I have a lot of fun making cc despite the stress it can bring sometimes as I like creating things I'd like to see in game which are usually complicated I learnt a lot from this mesh in general. Thank you for the advice!! Follow tutorials. There are professionally made tutorials on YouTube--FlippedNormals, CG Cookie, and Blender Guru have some good ones. Especially CG Cookie and Blender Guru. They focus on Blender exclusively. You'll be making things you don't want to make but it's how you learn. Do not follow tutorials made by kids. They teach mistakes, don't explain things, make baffling leaps of logic that you can't follow, and are just a waste of your time. There is one video in particular that was screwing everyone up who followed it. People kept having to come here for help because the video was teaching so many mistakes. So, yeah. Stick with the professionals when it comes to learning Blender. Also, if you're a beginner, making CAS items is hard. CAS items involve a lot of steps that can be confusing to beginners. It's better to start with objects, or perhaps earrings.

You should challenge yourself within the limits imposed by ts4 developers. No amount of effort or hours of tutorials can change how something is programmed to behave. Non-ts4 specific tutorials will not teach you how ts4 items are meant to behave. Only studying maxis items will. I just want to make sure that you understand that the problem with these jeans doesn’t lie in them being “complex-looking”, it lies in their shape being unsuitable for ts4. Too long, so they clip into shoes. Too high, so they clip into shirts. Disks are in the area affected by foot size sliders, so they distort. So next time you should start by studying a maxis catalogue and a similar maxis item and look for limitations.
