i'm trying to learn how to do hair conversions but sims 4 studio refuses to acknowledge that i have blender installed already. i saw other threads about this but none of the solutions made any sort of sense to me (literally what does "put it in your application folder" even mean) so i'm making a new thread asking for help.
whenever i try to export the hair mesh, sims 4 studio says "The Sims 4 Studio was unable to locate your Blender installation. Would you like to download it now?". i reinstalled blender through this and it still didn't work. can someone help me? i have zero idea what to do T_T thanks in advance

omg i'm a total sillyboy, sims 4 studio's settings defaulted to checking my C drive LOL that's what the problem was. blender is not on my C drive it's on my E drive. i'll leave this post up in case anyone else finds themselves with this problem. basically just go into sims 4 studio settings and change the blender path to the correct location, that's literally it

Hello! I've seen your thread and I have the same problem. When trying to export a mesh for blender I get the message “Sims 4 studio cannot find the blender application” I have it installed and it works very well. I checked the path and it is correct, it is directed to blender.exe. I don't know what else to do. If someone could explain and help me, I would greatly appreciate it. (I use Sims 4 Studio version 3.2.0.7 and blender 4.1.1

If you installed it elsewhere, then you need to change the path. Click on … button next to Blender path and navigate to the real installation folder
