Hi. Your dresses are structured differently from the original ones. Clone yfBody_DressPencil again and export the blend. You will see 4 meshgroups, with 3 of them being in the leg area. It seems that your blend had only one meshgroup and replaced only one meshgroup in the package, while the rest stayed
Also, unrelated to the problem, but there should be no hole in the skirt area in uv_1. Check how the uvs of yfBody_DressPencil look like in uv_1
Same situation with the second dress, but even worse. Replacing a small portion of the legs with an entire dress creates dramatic differences in weights, which manifest itself in distortions
You need to structure the blend exactly like the original was structured

Hello mauvemorn! Thanks for your help! The method you instructed me worked on the long dress, but not on the shot floral one. I cloned the mesh, crated a new package, crafted the meshgroups to mirror the yfBody_DressPencil as you instructed but nothing. I did some digging and it seems like when I import the blender file to S4S, the s4studio_mesh_1 and s4studio_mesh_2 switch names/places (as in s4studio_mesh_1 changes to s4studio_mesh_2 and vice versa) changing how it's supposed to be in the yfBody_DressPencil blend file. IDK if thats the reason? But I tried renaming them and changing it manually various times and it hasnt worked Here's the "new" .package fileAnd the .blend file
I'm also having issues removing the specular, shadow and normal textures. Even after I removed them the still show in game. I know thats a different issue, but since we're here lol

The names of meshgroups do not matter, only the cut numbers. The original dress is made of 4 meshgroups: 3 in the leg area and the 4th contains the rest of the body. The leg area that is split into 3 meshgroups does not exist in the 4th meshgroup. In the shared blend file one meshgroup, s4studio_mesh_2, contains the whole body. - clone yfBody_DressPencil again, export the blend, open, hide all 4 meshgroups; - append s4studio_mesh_2 into the scene, rename to Dress; - unhide one of the reference's meshgroups. Separate the same area of Dress, give the separated meshgroup the same cut number, delete the reference's meshgroup; - unhide another and repeat until you have all 4, then save and import back into yfBody_DressPencil

Hello again! Sorry that i was MIA , I was recovering from surgery.
I tried that and still didn't work, had some other issues with the arms. I managed to fix it some other way.
On the other issue, I have made sure that the file is the correct one, but the shadow still show. I'll have to do over some .package files.

If possible, could you please screenshot what you mean by that shadow? Do you mean this, perhaps? If yes, select the skirt area and remove doubles
