Hi! I wanted to try and create my own cc hair and everything went smoothly till i had to import the mesh into the sims studio. I know that i probably have polygons much more over the limit but i dont think thats the only problem with the mesh, when i did the import thing the hair got invisible in many places and also got a lot of bald spots. It's also in a completly different place on the head when in blender it looked fine. Hi. We need access to download the file The most likely cause are flipped normals. In bleder toggle backface culling and you will see it. Select a face on each of these strands, then Ctrl L to select all of them, then Mesh- Normals - flip normals

You should not transform objects in Object mode. When you mirror an object, its normals should be flipped. - delete every -; - switch to edit mode, select everything with A, Mesh - Mirror - X global; - Mesh - Normals - Flip normals - also, some of the meshgroups are misplaced and are clipping in the head, as you see below

I think im doing something wrong or i didnt understand something. When i did it the hair just basically turned the other way around and is also on the right side of the head. Also how can i fix the misplaced meshgroups? Sorry for being so confused but i basically did every step from a youtube tutorial.

No, this was my mistake, sorry. Did not question why it was transformed that way is the first placed and rolled with it. To correct myself, when you create your first curve to make the hair, you should also transform it in edit mode, not in Object mode. - clone some ponytail, export the blend, open. Delete s4studio_mesh_2 and s4studio_mesh_3. Select s4studio_mesh_1, in edit mode select everything with A, Delete - faces. s4studio_mesh_1 needs to stay but contain nothing; - append kafka.002 from your blend; - delete bone_bone_shape.002 and rig.001 ( this will fix displacement of the hair); - in this order: select kafka.002, then s4studio_mesh_1, Ctrl J to join; - in edit mode select everything with A, Mesh - Normals - Flip normals; - duplicate the mesh twice, change cuts, save, import back into the ponytail package
