I've been working on this pair of shorts for too long. I don't know what's wrong with them. The back sticks out of most shirts, and it sticks out super far when my sim bends over, as seen in this screenshot. I feel like there is a mesh or weight issue because it shouldn't be doing this. In Sims 4 Studio and in Blender the shorts look fine. I literally cannot edit these shorts any more- If I try to push them in further then they just disappear into the sim's body. Blend file<-- Package file<-- Also the black spot on the shoulder is not related. It disappears when I remove the skin details.

Hi. Your shorts reach the upper body area, but did not receive the data from it, so they clip. Separate the shorts from the legs and transfer weights and uv_1 from the full body Also, when i checked the vertex paint color, there was a wrong hex code in the color picker. The shorts seem to be painted with the right one, but, just in case, paint them with 00FF00 again
Unrelated to the problem, but why does your package have so many geometries in the warehouse? There should be only 4

What do you mean "separate the shorts from the legs"? Should I have one mesh group with the shorts and one group with the legs? I used a bottom (not full body) mesh to make these. Does that mean for the future I need to transfer weights from the full body for bottoms? I am not sure about the geometries. Something I did must have added them.

No. What I mean is that you should never overwrite the data of body parts. Transfer any data to the garment only, not garment+body Then, after retransfer everything, join the body back with shorts
Under the rig, you can toggle the eye icon next to the top to see where it ends. If your pants partially cover the top, you need to transfer the weights from the full-body. If no, then from bottoms. No maxis bottoms for any frame cover the upper body to minimise the chance of clipping, so technically that is something you should not be making in the first place. But since you’ve already made them, just adapt according to logic

Oh okay I think I got it. Do I need to delete the extra geometries?
