I'm trying to overwrite the male and female nude clothing bottoms. All I want to do is replace the existing meshes with meshes from other clothing. My goal is to fix a problem with the sims default nude outfit and some CC legs. The default nude outfit causes some of the legs to clip, but they don't clip on most clothing items. So I'm trying to replace the nude mesh with a clothing mesh and then remove the clothing's textures to make them invisible. I tried to export the mesh from the male default underwear and directly importing it onto the male nude bottom, but that made the legs entirely invisible. I also tried exporting the underwear mesh, copying the 3 mesh parts onto the exported nude mesh, and importing it again, but that didn't seem to actually change the mesh somehow.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi. We would need to see the initial problem you’re trying to solve by overwriting the default nude. Unless the cc it conflicts with is very peculiar, this is most certainly not the right way of approaching it. Please share the files that conflict with nude legs, as well as the nude legs package you modified

Thanks! This image should show the problem I'm having. With the default nudity, there are two legs or something. With the default underwear, everything is fine. Here is the foot CC, it's in the face details menu. Here is my attempt to make the nude body use the underwear's model, which has exactly the same issue as the default nudity in game. Here is the invisible underwear I made that I want to replace the nude body with. This works when I use MCCC to use set it as the bathing outfit, but I want it to be automatically applied to all male sims.

- in s4s main menu, click CAS, clone ymBottom_EF01SwimBikiniHalter, export all blends from it; - back to s4s main menu, choose Overwrite, click CAS, clone ymBottom_Nude; - switch to Warehouse, Tools - Modding - Embed all externally referenced resources; - select the first Geometry in the list, click on Duplicate, change the last digit to 0. Duplicate again and change the last digit to 1. Then select the second geometry, duplicate twice while changing last digit to 2 and 3. Do the same with the 3d and 4th geometries, so that you have 12 of them in total; - click on Region map, Edit items, select the entry, copy it twice. Change regiontypes and layers so what it looks like in the pic below; - select Knee, Edit items, change last digits to 0, 2, 4, 6, save. Select Base, change numbers to 1, 3, 5, 7. Save all changes; - Cas part - Lods - Edit items. Select the entry, duplicate twice. Select the second one, change the last digit to 0. Select the third one, change to 1. Save. Repeat for the remaining lods (LOD1 - 2 and 3, LOD2 - 4 and 5, LOD3 - 6 and 7) - once done, import the blend files. Before doing this, you can open lod0 and lod1 blends, select each meshgroup, and remove doubles on all of them. This will remove the seam on the sides of legs Heres a packageAlso, you should remove doubles on the hooves

Wow, that's a lot more complicated than I expected. Thank you so much! Would the steps differ at all for doing the female version, or would they be basically the same?

Yeah, the same. Changing the shader to make the bottom invisible won’t work because the nude bottom’s texture is already invisible, so this is the only way
