I have an issue. Even though in: sims4studio.com/thread/29850/which-versions-blender-sims-studio there is stated "3.6 - Starting with Star 3.2.0.7 and Aurora 1.4.0.6, any version of Blender that starts with 3.6 will be accepted by Studio", when I try to import or export meshes, S4S just goes: The version of Blender you are using is not compatible with this version of Sims 4 Studio. Click yes for more information about Blender versions that work with Sims 4 Studio". I have Sims 4 Studio 3.2.0.9 (Star) and Blender 3.6.1. Im a newbie when it comes to this stuff. Help?

Hi. It works for me. Make sure blender path in s4s settings leads to blender.exe in Blender 3.6.1 folder and try re-exporting the blend

could you try deleting s4s folder from Documents to force s4s to re-index. Most likely will not help, but you can try I will inform the developers

Ok, I just uninstalled Blender and downloaded it from the official website (previously it was from some other one) and installed it again now in the default path (before it was in a custom one). Somehow it fixed it, and now it works. So either it was something to do with unusual localization, or the first website I got it from, did something to it. Or something else, I have no idea. Either way, thanks for the suggestions, that was a weird situation.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I downloaded Blender from the Windows Store and suspect that is causing the issue. Before I uninstall and reinstall from the Blender site, does anyone have it working successfully with Sims 4 Studio Star, where it is the Windows Store installation? My gut feeling is it's an issue with the blender.exe file being in the protected WindowsApps folder. Thanks.

There you will see the correct path to blender.exe If that wont work, just get it from blender website

Thanks.
I had the right path, but S4S doesn't seem to work with the Windows Store installation of Blender. Rather than mess up my Blender install, I simply downloaded the old 2.7 version and pointed S4S to that. At least it now exports the mesh, which I then edit in Blender 3.6. It means an unnecessary install which I won't use, but it works.

Blender 2.7x and 3.6 are two dramatically different programs. You cannot open or append a file made in 3.6 back to 2.7. Just delete it and install it from a website, it messes up nothing and takes a few minutes.
